When a users Start Menu is created, the users will get the default settings form the server wich includes the Internet Explorer X64 icon. When the users opens a the browser the default is X86 (watch this blog for more information), but I luike my Start Menu as clean as possible.
While searching the internet I found different methods to remove the IE X64 icon, but the best way for me was to delete the following registry key:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\>{26923b43-4d38-484f-9b9e-de460746276c}\StubPath
I used the GPO preferences to accomplish this.
